I grew up in a military family, both parents being veterans, and as such have moved frequently my entire life. This has taught me to quickly assess the spirit of a community and how to enjoy the benefits of living there. Whether it be historic Upstate New York, a closely-knit small town in West Virginia, or the laid-back ocean-side villages of Southern California, I deeply appreciate them all. For me, it’s about the local residents and the lifestyle. Skiing in New York, white-water rafting and raising cattle in West Virginia, scuba diving in California. I’ve been coming to South Florida since the 1970’s and have watched it grow. I love this place with its amazing diversity, glorious beaches, high-rise views from gleaming towers, and “living with water” mentality.

I bring a background from the helping professions to the real estate business. I trained with the Catholic Foreign Mission Society and served for years as a missionary in Central and South America. I am a former public elementary school teacher and high school administrator for the Los Angeles Unified School District. I bring the same passion and desire to be of service to the real estate profession.

I bought my first property, a town home, in 1996. I went through the process of selling it and buying a house four years later. I was treasurer for the homeowners association for 14 years. I understand the stresses and contingencies involved in selling and buying properties. I am well-aware of the desire people have to enjoy a beautiful home, protect the value of their investment and provide an on-going heritage. I am committed to walking people through what is seldom an easy process. My goal is finding them an attractive, safe, resilient, and energy-efficient property, allowing them to happily enjoy South Florida’s living-with-water-lifestyle far into the future.
